REFUND/EXCHANGE & CANCELLATION POLICY

– As a company policy, we do not offer refunds for our bakes unless there is an issue where we are found to be at fault. Our experts and chefs will examine the case and get back to you. In case we don’t found ourselves at any fault, we wont offer any refund

– If you are unsatisfied with your bake, please get in touch with a member of management through WhatsApp message (0307 4443780) within 24 hours of your collected/delivered bake with the reasons why you are unsatisfied and a photographic evidence of issues with the bake. It is then at our discretion whether you are offered a percentage off of your next order, a percentage of money back, or store credit to be used against a future purchase with us.
As taste and texture are subjective, we would not offer credit, money back, or a percentage off for these as reasons.

– We cannot be held liable for any damages to bakes once confirmation of delivery has been sent to us. We receive a phone call confirmation of all delivered bakes. If you receive the order and later
Complain about anything, we wont be responsible. All orders are presented for approval at time of pickup and/or delivery. Once accepted by the purchaser or purchaser’s agent or assignee, no refund will be applicable based on aesthetics or condition of the item.

– If you collect your bake from us, we cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake or products once they have left our premises. When you collect a bake, please ensure that your vehicle has a flat surface and is clean and tidy. Our cakes can be very fragile, so we advise to drive slowly and ensure that your cake cannot move around in the vehicle.

– We will always endeavour to deliver within the given time slot, however as we use a third party delivery service, delivery timings can not be guaranteed. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries and any delivery complaints will be forwarded to our delivery service provider

– As per company policy, Orders are booked after full advance payments only

– In case of an acute political scenario or severe weather conditions, we have the right to delay or cancel orders delivery as we really care about the lives of our riders. In such case, option will be given to collect the order from designated Baketown collection point

– We bake fresh for every order, therefore, we schedule the baking of every order and book its baking slot once it has been paid for. Please be sure you want the customised cake/Wedding cake before placing the order. Changes may be made to the decoration of the cake with 2 business days notice Before deliver date.
NO REFUNDS OR STORE CREDITS for customised cakes or Wedding cakes.

– We respect our customers very much and expect the same in return. Order will be cancelled anytime because of rude, abusive or threatening behaviour of customers

– In case you have booked an order for delivery, the rider will wait outside your location for seven minutes only.

– You will get a call from our deliveries team at time of delivery to collect the cake from the driver. Yoh will have to receive the cake yourselves from the driver at your address. Delivery drivers wont be coming to your hotel room, apartments or building receptions to handover the cake to you

– If you are receiving an order which is booked as a surprise order and has no recipient name and you have any Reservations regarding this delivery, please don’t receive the order. The baketown team is not responsible once you receive and accept the delivery.

– If you are sending a surprise delivery/gift to someone, please mention your name on it, incase receiver doesn’t accept the order or not present at the location you have mentioned, baketown team will not be responsible further
